Nose Rhinoplasty

Nose Rhinoplasty is relatively small structure that stands out from the centre of the face and is constatntly avaible for inspection by the patient and others. Even a millimetre of change can make a discernible difference in aesthetics of a person. In Rhinoplasty involves one or more of the following procedures done:
  • Elevation of depressed nose by adding cartilage, bone or implant.
  • Removal of hump.
  • Reduction of bulk of the tip.
  • Reshaping of nasal bones.
  • Elevation of tip of nose.
  • Reduction of size of nostrils.
The incisions are usually not visible as they are given from inside the nose & therefore no postoperative visible scars.
Rhinoplasty is performed on an outpatient basis under Local Anaesthesia. The patient wears an external splint on the nose for 5 - 7 days. After the splint is removed, the nose will be swollen for another 2 -3 weeks following which most patients can return to work and resume full activities
